David and Liona took over South Angle Farm back in the very cold winter of 2012/13. With a huge amount of help from their family and friends they were ready to open South Angle Farm Park to the public in Spring 2014. We worked hard to find animals for the farm that needed new homes and today our farm is almost all rehomed or rescue animals.
The farm began as an educational site for schools, which it proudly still is during term time. When we quickly realised the popularity of the park for the public and opened during school holidays the following year. When, in 2017, the opportunity came to take on the neighbouring smallholding, a disused nursery, we jumped at it and so become the 17 acre site we are today.
The farm now includes a shop, café, craft barns, woodland walks, reptile experience and so much more. We are always growing and expanding with many plans still developing to keep our army of helpers busy for a long time yet.
"A fantastic day out with my two children (age 6 and 7) thank you all so much for being so friendly and willing to answer all the questions that we had. The animals were also incredibly calm and friendly. We absolutely loved it!"
Rebecca Grey | Facebook"Have been visiting for last four years. Staff are really friendly and make loads of effort for various themed events. Farm is small but great for under 8s to explore. Plenty of opportunities to engage with the animals."
